"Good News" was written in 1959. At that time, Lu Chunling went to Shandong and Anhui to live deeply. The positive spirit of the people of the whole country for building the motherland inspired his creative enthusiasm, so he composed this hymn to praise people for building the motherland. Influenced by the northern style, the music uses more calendar, tonality and portamento in technique, and supplemented by abundant dynamics, the music appears agitated, high-pitched, passionate and unrestrained. The whole piece consists of 4 parts: the first part is a cheerful and lively Allegro, and the first 8 bars are the theme of the whole piece, showing a mood that cannot restrain the inner joy; the second part is the change and development of the theme, the melody is lyrical and beautiful; the third part Part of it is a cadenza, the flute plays the fluctuating tunes freely, and expresses the joy in the heart; the fourth part is the allegro.
