"Ancient Dance" was created by composer Wang Jianmin in 2011 at the invitation of the project "More Harmony between Silk and Bamboo". The creator got the inspiration from the Yungang Grottoes and intended to reproduce the scenes and pageants of ancient court music and dance. The repertoire breaks the pattern of new Guqin works in recent years, and uses dance rhythm with great technical difficulty.
The music, light and elegant, listen to the view, like a graceful dancer, body like a dragon, face like peach blossom, long belt fluttering, comfortable skirt, with jingle music, graceful and dance, every twinkle and smile pour all beings.
