Liezi Tang Wen records that "Boya is good at playing the zither, and Zhong Ziqi is good at listening to it. Boya is good at playing the zither. Zhong Ziqi said, 'Good, I am as good as Mount Taishan!' He said, 'The ocean is as beautiful as a river!' As Boya read, Zhong Ziqi will get it." Later generations created the zither music "High Mountains and Flowing Water", which complements the story and becomes a symbol of bosom friends. After the Tang Dynasty, the music was divided into two parts, with "High Mountain" and "Running Water" being independent and not consecutive. Young guqin performer Gao Xinran organized this piece based on the versions of "Magic Secret Score", "High Mountain" and "Running Water", climbing mountains and facing water, with a broad mind.
If the sound of the qin comes from the mountains and valleys, crossing the vast sea of clouds and the peaks of high mountains, the syllables are vigorous and powerful, yet they become calm and composed; As if it had been passed down from the depths of history, the melody is rich in antiquity and gentle and peaceful, mellow and elegant. Time is fleeting, mountains and rivers are ever-changing, and life has been endless for generations. With thousands of miles of rivers and mountains, historical sites are preserved. Climbing the towering mountains, visiting the past and tracing the past, the profound and elegant sound of the piano exudes a vibrant youthful spirit. As Meng Haoran once said in his poem, "Human beings have metabolism, and communication has become ancient and modern. The rivers and mountains leave a monument, and our generation will climb again.
