Composed in 1953 by Erhu virtuoso and composer Wang Yi, the piece is based on the work songs of Wu County, Jiangsu Province, and depicts the scene of farmers celebrating a harvest.
The happy melody makes the heart joyful, the jumping dulcimer and the not very strong Erhu slip sound, so that the enthusiasm and diligence of the river mud labor song more dexterity and humor, hard work and fertilizer, after the autumn grain is full, the pole is the pole, the heart is really happy. Melodious melodies are interspersed between them, such as the soft autumn wind, dyeing yellow rice, reflecting red leaves, blowing osmanthus fragrance, adding to the poetic meaning of rural life in the golden autumn, playing the joy of harvest and people's yearning for a happy life.
