"Four Harmonies" is one of the eight great songs of Jiangnan silk and bamboo, and it is a traditional song that gathers traditional silk and bamboo materials. The name of the qupai itself has the meaning of combining sets of multiple songs. It is almost a source of Jiangnan silk and bamboo music, and many traditional songs of Jiangnan silk and bamboo music come from this mother.
Different from the famous silk and bamboo song "Street" played in the march, "Sihe" is a large sitting music, played on the formation of a bit of bamboo alternate arrangement, called "bridge", therefore, it has the alias of "Bridge".
The music, which begins with the banban, is gradually introduced by the silk and bamboo orchestra in turn, competing with each other, and interweaving with the ensemble, until at last, between the sound of the drums, the wind pipes are playing together, the Ruan flute is chirping, the three-string moon harp is accompanied by the Erhu pipa, and the melody pattern is miswoven like a beautiful tapestry, which is full of joy and enthusiasm.
