Chaozhou ancient music, originally a suona music, light six tune. The tune is beautiful and smooth, and the image is vivid, depicting the picture of pink butterflies spreading their wings and flying, lightly touching flower stamens, and dancing with the wind. The song is divided into two parts: "Pink Butterfly" (28 boards) and "Caihua" (with Caihua brand indeterminate board).
"Pink Butterfly Picking Flowers" is an excellent traditional piece of Chaozhou string poetry. Chaozhou xianshi music belongs to the chamber music in the famous southern folk music "Chaozhou music", spread in Guangzhou, Chaozhou, Shantou area, and spread to Longyan, Longxi and other areas in southern Fujian. It is also quite influential among overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia. String Poetry Music is mainly performed by the most distinctive two-string, small suona (locally known as "Chuizai"), deep wave, small cymbal and other instruments.
The suona reed is made of wheat straw. The volume is low, and the tone is round and soft. When playing, the barrel sound and the high octave of the first hole are super blown with the sound hole, and it is characterized by easy air opening and delicate performance. This piece is derived from the variation, repetition and free development of the melody matrix of the first stanza. The tone is relaxed and lively, the rhythm is alternated, and it is full of bright local colors, showing a relaxed and pleasant mood.
