"Yimeng Mountain Minor" is a classic folk song from Shandong Province, which belongs to the minor key. It was born in Shangbaishiwu Village, Xuezhuang Town, Feixian County, at the foot of Wanghai Tower in Yimeng Mountain, Linyi, Shandong Province. Its predecessor was the "Anti-Huangsha Meeting" collected and created by Li Lin and Ruan Ruoshan, members of the Anti-Dalian Cultural and Art Troupe in Yimeng Mountains in 1940.
"Yimeng Mountain Minor" originated from the Huagu tune in the Yimeng Mountains. In the autumn of 1953, Li Guangzong, deputy head of the Cultural and Art Troupe of the Political Department of the Shandong Military Region, Wang Yinquan, head of the research group, and Li Ruiyun, the leader of the band, revised the notation, and changed the anti-Japanese theme in the original lyrics to a new one. In order to sing the theme of hometown, two more lyrics were added later, named "Yimeng Mountain Minor", and the official version of Yimeng Mountain Minor was born.
"Yimeng Mountain Minor" and "Jasmine Flower" have been recognized by UNESCO as the two most representative folk songs in China, and are well-known at home and abroad; "Yimeng's beautiful scenery" has gradually penetrated into people's hearts and become the theme image of Yimeng. .
