Su Yitong's guzheng performance "Fishing Boat Sings Evening" is from the album "Music: Guzheng - Su Yitong".

"The Fishing Boat Sings Evening" was adapted by Mr. Lou Shuhua in the mid-1930s based on the material of the ancient song "Civilization of Returning". The name of the song is taken from the poem "The Preface to the Pavilion of King Teng" by Wang Bo, a poet of the Tang Dynasty: "The fishing boat sings late, and it sings on the shore of the poor Pengli". At the beginning of the music, with beautiful and elegant tunes and soothing rhythms, it depicts a picture of the setting sun reflecting the vast expanse of blue waves. Then, the theme of the music descends layer by layer and changes repeatedly, and the beautiful melody falls layer by layer with the convolution of the pentatonic scale to reflect the interest of "singing late". Finally, the melody of ascending first and descending descending is repeated many times, and the speed is gradually accelerated, showing the scene of white sails drifting with the current and fishing boats returning with a full load. This piece is the most widely circulated and most influential zheng solo piece in China since the 1930s.
