"Xian Suo Yu Kao" Rong Zhai 1814
In the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were several musical institutions, one of which was "Xian Suo Xue," a set of music played by bowed and plucked instruments. It was used to accompany the singing of Yue Ling's lyrics and songs. These sets were later taken out of the palace and widely circulated in the capital. During the Jiaqing period, the Mongolian literati Rongzhai was deeply afraid of losing these treasures of ancient songs, so he recorded them with Gongchi calligraphy and compiled them into six volumes and ten volumes, called "Xian Suo Preparation".
"Three Stacks of Yangguan"
The theme of the music is repeated three times, that is, "three stacks". Each time it appears, it adopts the technique of expansion or variation to express the farewell to the friends who are about to travel far away. In Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei's "Weicheng Song / Sending Yuan Second Envoy to Anxi", there is a saying: "I advise you to drink a glass of wine, and there is no old friend when you leave Yangguan in the west."
