"You Orchid Meets Spring" is a flute piece composed by Zhao Songting and Cao Xing in 1979. Mr. Zhao Songting wrote the first draft of the song, responsible for the allegro and the ending, and Mr. Cao Xing was responsible for the introduction and adagio. The music is taken from the tones of Kunqu Opera, the theme of Adagio is taken from Kunqu Opera "Erlang God", and the Allegro is taken from Kunqu Opera transition music. Graceful and elegant, euphemistic and lyrical, from depression to relaxation, it praises the elegance and fragrance of orchids, and expresses the state of mind of people who are sad but not complaining and sad but not hurt in difficult situations. This piece is the last piece created by Mr. Zhao Songting, and it is the representative work of his artistic maturity.
