Jiang Nu Tears, also known as "Great Wall Diao", is an important representative piece of the Shaanxi Zheng School. It was created by Mr. Zhou Yanjia by combining the vocals and tunes of "Slow Great Wall", "Fast Great Wall", and "Great Wall Passing through the Gate" in Shaanxi Meishan music. In 1984, Mr. Zhou Yanjia changed the title of this song to "Jiang Nu Tears" when he created it. He believed that this would be more direct, accurate, and specific in reflecting its characteristics. It will not be confused with music works titled "The Great Wall" such as "The Great Wall Ballad" and "The Long Wall".
