You may not have personally visited Lincang, to the last primitive tribe in China, Wengding village, which is completely preserved to this day, but you may have heard of the Cangyuan rock paintings, vertical cliffs, touching red paint, 3,000 years ago the Wa ancestors painted simply hunting, war, grazing, villages... People blowing horns, people drawing bows and shooting arrows, holding sticks and fighting with wild animals, and their sacrifices and hunting songs and dances.
The Wa people have a long hunting history, and hunting is part of their genes. This simple hunter's impromptu song, made of mountain wood, was originally used to summon and communicate with each other while hunting in the mountains. The music seems to take people directly to the jungle of the southwest border, where the trees are whirling, and you are the hunter, moving quickly and silently. With the bow back to the body, the bow string is about to be pulled open at any moment, the melody is attached to the string, and the eyes of the Wa people are vigilant to observe all the movements, including the wind, the sound of the water, the light and the beasts in the dark.
