The short bow is the basic bow of the erhu, and it is named after the short bow. The playing method is a combination of the agile bow movement of the forearm and the relaxed and elastic rotation of the wrist. The bow is about an inch, so the movement of the wrist and forearm is smaller than that of playing a half bow; the upper arm and elbow should be played. They sag naturally and cannot become rigid.
