The Song of Turning Over is an adaptation of Mr. Wang Guotong, a famous erhu performer, based on Zhang Xiecheng's original Banhu tune "Returning and Not Forgetting the Communist Party".
The song "Turn Over Song" has a strong local flavor of Henan, expressing the joy of the working people's liberation and the indictment of the suffering life in the old society.
The music is written in a complex trilogy with reproduction, and the whole piece is composed of three paragraphs: Allegro, Adagio and Allegro. The first stanza: Allegro, with warm emotions and active rhythm, vividly depicts the joyous scene of the working people turning over. The second stanza: Adagio, weeping and complaining, emotional depression, long tune, profoundly expressing people's painful memories of the miserable life in the past. The third passage: Allegro, the first half of which reproduces the Allegro theme of the first passage, with a warm and unrestrained tune; the second half of the melody is further developed, with people singing and dancing, and the joy and cheerfulness reaches a climax. The whole song ends in an atmosphere.
