Zhan Qian's guzheng performance "Drunken Beijing" comes from the album "Music: Guzheng - Zhan Qian".

Zhan Qian | Song

This song was composed in September 2017. "Everyone wakes me up and I'm drunk alone, and I sing the sound of music exquisitely. Enjoying the music and singing the rhythm is drunk, but I'm fascinated by the soul of Beijing." This poem was specially created by the composer for this work. "Lan" means splendid and colorful, highlighting the splendor and colorfulness of Jinghua. The author adopts familiar Peking Opera tunes and incorporates local musical elements, and integrates the rhythm of classical opera into the creation of modern zheng music. The whole piece is delicate and lively. Between the fluttering of neon clothes, the Beijing rhythm is fully displayed, which makes people fascinated and has a long aftertaste. The work premiered at the first Jiangxi Province Zheng Music Original Works Music Festival in 2017. In 2018, it won the Silver Award and the Best Composition Award at the Second Prosperous Huazheng International Guzheng Music Festival and Chinese Original Guzheng Music New Works Exhibition.
