Zhao Mojia's guzheng performance "Random Thoughts on Orchid Flowers" comes from the album "Zheng Pin".
Composer of "Random Thoughts on Orchid Flowers": Wu Shen draws inspiration from the folk song "Orchid Flowers" in northern Shaanxi. The melody materials with the theme of orchids can be seen everywhere in the music, combined with the harmony and rhythm characteristics of folk songs in Shaanxi Gansu region, are interpreted by the guzheng with its unique instrument language. This work was commissioned by Zhao Mojia to the young composer and conductor Wu Shen and was completed in 2020.
